Dartmoor Watercolours
These images were captured in late Oct / early Nov 2016 following a period of very low rainfall. This meant that Dartmoor river levels were low and had near laminar flows. The bright colours of the sky and golden oak and birch trees were reflected off the smooth water surface, together with the bright sunlight reflected off the vegetation and leaf fall trapped on the granite river bed. As a result the colours were exceptionally vivid.
